Cole is a Morab. He is 3/4 Morgan and 1/4 Arabian, so that is why he looks so much like a Morgan. In fact, he looks more like a Morgan than many Morgans I've seen.
I bought him as a 4 year old. I did all his training myself. He is the first horse I ever started from scratch with clicker training, and it worked beautifully. I would recommend it to anyone. Not only is he usually very obedient, but he does a silly dance walk, picks up things I drop and bows. It's not the bow you see most horses do--he bows like a dog. He will also chase a ball, but I haven't taught him to pick it up and bring it back--yet.
I use him primarily as a trail horse, but in the winter I have to use the arena. The most remarkable thing about him is a trot that you can't believe. He has so much impulsion--he belongs in the Olympic dressage ring. It is very hard to ride, so I'm not sure if I like it. On trail, he trots like a normal horse--unless he is in a playful mood. Then he will launch into it when we pass pedestrians.
He is not a normal horse. I don't know if it is because of the clicker training or because he just has a sense of humor. He makes me laugh all the time.
