November in cleveland can be pretty dreary. Most of the leaves are down and it is very gray. We get a lot of cloudy days this time of year—and the few sunny ones are to be treasured. Here is Starry crossing the river this weekend. Being a dirty buckskin, he kinda blends right in!
Dreariness doesn’t keep us from riding, though. As long as it isn’t raining, you will still find us out there. The park is quieter and that is a bonus.
It is supposed to snow a little over the next few days, so that will liven things up.

Gorgeous! We have to travel to find water crossings out here, so my horse isn't yet a fan. We got to work on it a bit a few weeks ago. I can't complain about weather out here though, as it is usually perfect riding weather, just wish there were some more rivers.
I'm soooo not ready for winter. :( It got really cold and windy recently and I'm not enjoying it. I don't even have my jackets, hats and gloves dug out yet. :)
Oh and I love that picture!
LAcorporatecowgirl -- I sure wish we had some of your California weather! It becomes very challenging this time of year. We still try to ride as much as we can, but once the river freezes--we are stuck. We won't risk riding across it. We would definitely prefer less river crossings, too! You are lucky.
achieve1dream--stop your complaining--I have been wearing my thermal underwear for a month and you don't have your winterwear out yet? You need to see what Cleveland weather is like. You would never complain about your lovely southern weather again--at least in the winter.
Hehehehe you're right I would never complain about my winters again because I probably wouldn't survive one of yours! LOL!
