I taught Cole to put his head down when I point to the ground. It was very useful when I was teaching him to cross the water. Supposedly, it also makes the horse to relax to lower his head. I'm not sure if that is true, but it sure doesn't hurt if it is!

I have one question for you. How in the world do you get ANYTHING done with this GORGEOUS horse around?!?!?! I would just stand in a daze drooling over him! I still haven't taught Chrome to lower his head. It got hot and I got lazy lol. I'm planning to work on it next though after a short refresher course. It has to cool off a little though.
