Cole in the river

This picture was taken the day that Cole put one hoof in the water.  It has gotten better ever since.  We have crossed a number of times and have been going for walks on the trail. So far, nothing has scared  him out there.  He is pretty amazing.  Even motorcycles don't bother him.  Cruiser still spooks with the loud ones.  He is going to be a fine horse.  I am working on an article about the river crossing, so a full report is yet to come.

That's a really nice picture. You groomed him well. Sounds like you've got yourself a really nice trail horse there.

See is so totally gorgeous! Don't you just love those horses who don't spook at anything? My appy mare was like that. I think Chrome is going to be a bit spookier, but I'm sure he'll grow out of it with experience. He likes to spook at things and flag his tail and trot around about thing that don't even scare him. :D

Wow I'm behind on reading blogs again lol. I'm hoping Chrome will reach 16hh. His dam was 14.3hh and his sire was 16.2hh. I've 5'10" so I need a tall horse lol. Keep your fingers crossed for me lol!
