My sister and I have 3 horses that we trail ride--a Morab, a Morgan and a Morgan mix. This blog is all about them. By the way, check out my two books "Trail Training for the Horse and Rider" and "Trail Horse Adventures and Advice. I also have the most adorable, loveable cat named Thunder. I call him a mini Maine Coon. He is the light of my life when things go wrong. He will always listen to me and try to comfort and cheer me up. He does a pretty good job of it, too.

This is my Cruiser on a snowy day a few years ago. This is when he was in physical therapy for his bowed tendon--that's why his legs are shaved. It was the first time he was out of the barn in months, and we didn't go very far. He had shoes on. We simply wanted to get a picture of him in the snow.
Cruiser is a Morab gelding. I have had him for more than 20 years, now, and he is everything I could ask in a horse.

Wow I didn't realize he was that old. He looks good in the picture. :) I'm glad his tendon is doing better.
ReplyDeleteI think he is 19 in the picture. He'a a horse who never acts his age, and that's a wonderful thing.
ReplyDeleteHis big problem right now is that he is insulin resistant, and we have to monitor his diet and make sure he gets regular exercise.
Any excuse to ride him more is fine with me!
